[THE VIDEO]:
Vegeta destroys Cell with the Final Flash.
[THE ANIME]:
To folks unfamiliar with Dragon Ball, or this episode: this is a Fan-Edit made from three different episodes of Dragon Ball Z.
Originally, Vegeta (Chest-plated Muscle-mass Spikey-haired Saiyan) was overwhelmed by Perfect Cell(Green, Black & Purple textured "Android"),
after allowing Cell to earn the title "Perfect" through absorbing the physical being of another Android. At this juncture Vegeta
resorted to the "Final Flash" attack, which did prove threatening even to Perfect Cell as it tore his limbs off, though didn't kill him. Afterward Cell
demonstrated his Regeneration ability, which he inherited from Piccolo(Slug-like extraterrestrial: Initially antagonist), re-growing his lost limbs, and then continued destroying Vegeta. Cell is later
killed by Goku(Main protagonist)'s son Gohan.

[INFO]:
-The video seemed to get bugged a little after I uploaded.
-
-I tried looking for an episode title background that had outspace in it, but had no luck.
-I tried to find the font used in the American version for titles, but had no luck. Made with what I had.
[OPINIONS]:
I found this to be one of the most climatic & inspiring pieces in animation history. The scenario and its characters seems to generate an "awe" and a vibe that yells "Holy shit, that was insane."; Faulconer's music fits so well, and Sabat does some pretty awesome things with his voice.
[TECHNICAL TROUBLE]:
-I tried to preserve as much quality as possible; VirtualDub didn't work, and I couldn't compress with Audition or Sony Vegas.
-I managed to compress a bit with Movie Maker and the quality was perfect but the size was 111 MB. Too bad that limit's been changed recently.
[CREATIVE CHANGES]:
I added extra scenes of other characters and their reactions to the Final Flash, because Toriyama never wrote in that sort of attention for Vegeta's character, not by any other characters apart from the major protagonists and antagonists involved with Vegeta at a said time. I felt it was deserving for a change.
[ANIME TIDBITS / COPY/PASTED]:
The history of anime begins at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with the animation techniques that were being explored in France, Germany, United States and Russia.[citation needed]
Animation became popular in Japan as it provided an alternative format of storytelling compared to the underdeveloped live-action industry in Japan. Unlike America, where live-action shows and films have generous budgets, the live-action industry in Japan is a small market and suffered from budgeting, location, and casting restrictions.
During the 1970s, there was a surge of growth in the popularity of manga comics — which were often later animated — especially those of Osamu Tezuka, who has been called a "legend"[1] and the "god of manga".[2][3] As a result of his work and that of other pioneers in the field, anime developed characteristics and genres that are fundamental elements of the art today. The giant robot genre (known as "mecha" outside Japan), for instance, took shape under Tezuka, developed under Go Nagai and others, and was revolutionized at the end of the decade by Yoshiyuki Tomino. Robot anime like Gundam and Macross became instant classics in the 80s, and the robot genre of anime is still one of the most popular in Japan and worldwide today. In the 1980s, anime was accepted in the mainstream in Japan, and experienced a boom in production (It should be noticed that, Manga has significantly more mainstream exposure than anime in Japan). The mid-to-late '90s, on into the 2000s, saw an increased acceptance of anime in overseas markets. Yes, Dragonball Z was the captain of the ship.
"Dragon Ball, which appeared in manga-comics in the mid '80s is what really set the tone for new & innovative mangas and animes. During the 1990s Dragon Ball (Z) was pronounced the "One of the most original & ground-breaking animes in history". While the manga and animated series may be immensely popular, most anime fans have found most of what they've been waiting for in new animes, like Naruto. The anime Naruto is what's based on the comic by a Japanese artist who was influenced by Akira Toriyama. |
